六通拳 Luk Tong Kuen is an outdoor exercise that originated in Hong Kong, and is now popular in parks all over the world. There are 36 movements that increase circulation to all body parts. All ages are welcome - join us on the lawn and warm up your joints as we wait for the lion dance performance.

You don’t want to miss this! White Lotus Dragon and Lion Dance Group will be doing an acrobatic performance with dynamic lions, colorful costumes and loud drumming to scatter away old stagnant qi and bring in good fortune.
Come get your own good luck by ‘feeding’ the lions some lucky money - put your cash in a red envelope and offer it to the lions! We have extra envelopes if you need.
Indoor/outdoor event, kid friendly, dogs will likely get scared. Come early for parking.
Like Dressing Up?
We welcome you to come in your lunar new year best. Does your kiddo have an Asian dragon costume? Do they want to make one? There will be plenty of photo opportunities with the lion dancers!
Tea, Snacks and Wishing Tree
All afternoon, we will have tea and snacks, space for connecting with the community, and a station for writing down your wishes for the new year to hang on our wishing tree.
